McCurtain County is the place to visit for all kinds of water sports! Start at Broken Bow Lake, covering over 14,000 acres. The waters stay clear here due to the unspoiled natural surroundings (development breeds pollution). Left your boat at home? Then take advantage of the many types of rental craft, both motorized and manually driven varieties. Scuba gear is also available to rent for use in the crystal lake waters.

Wonder at the structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1937: hardwood and bed stone from the park’s grounds makes up the fireplaces, stairways, and every building on the property, both large and small.
