When you enjoy an Oklahoma vacation at Lago Vista Bed and Breakfast, you will find that this area has many exciting activities and attractions.

Whether you spend time enjoying water sports at Broken Bow Lake, exploring Beavers Bend State Park, or visiting our local shop's winery, you will discover that there is something here for everyone.

Indoor Activities and Attractions:

Girls Gone Wine has become a destination for girlfriend getaways, but it isn’t just for the “gals.”  Enjoy the complimentary tasting, the funky gift shop, and ask for a tour of our winemaking building.

Unique “STRESS RELIEF” Bodywork:
While lying on the comfort of the Body Harmony Instrument Sound Bed, soothing music gently "vibrates" through your body at cell level. Surround-sound fills the room as Dead Sea mud is "painted on" and your face and your head is wrapped in steam towels.

Unwind as:
Warm, melted Shea Butter is drizzled and massaged into your body
Dead Sea salt is "sprinkled” and gently massaged (exfoliation)
Hot, moist, steamy towels are wrapped and butter and salts mingle and melt
Rich minerals and nutrients are absorbed
Endorphins are released...
Euphoria!

Lake, River, & Outdoor Activities

  • Welcome to Riverman Trail Rides & Stables   www.rivermantrailrides.com
Located in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains and overlooking the ever-winding Glover River, here you will have the ride of your life and experience God's country on the original all-terrain vehicle. Take in the sites, breathe the fresh air, and get away from the everyday.  John is a personal friend of ours and takes you on an excellent ride that you will never forget.
  • Broken Bow Lake
McCurtain County is the place to visit for all kinds of water sports! Start at Broken Bow Lake, covering over 14,000 acres. Broken Bow Lake is incredibly clear and cool because its 180 miles of shore is lined by the forest-covered Kiamichi Mountains, not commercial development. Bring your own boat or rent a wide variety of watercraft at the lake including ski boats, pontoon boats, and house boats. You can also rent jet skis, canoes, paddle boats, and inner tubes. Snorkeling and scuba diving are also very popular because of the clear water of Broken Bow Lake. Scuba rental and support are available.

The Scenic beauty of Beaver's Bend Resort Park makes it one of Oklahoma's most popular resort areas. The crystal clear water of the lake and river, as well as the 100-foot pine trees, makes the park the perfect location for your next outing.
Much of the charm of Beavers Bend Resort Park lies in the fact that when the park was built in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the materials of choice came from the land itself: slabs on native stone and hardwood timbers thicker than a man's chest. From them, CCC crews fashioned cabins, staircases, fireplaces, campsites, and even the Forest Heritage Center and Museum, which now doubles as the Beavers Bend Resort Park office.
Beavers Bend Resort Park is located six miles north of Broken Bow on Hwy 259 north, turn right on 259a to the park.
